Happy Friday! Have you even bought ribbon that you just didn’t know what to do with? I mean, you had a plan in the store but now that you’re home all inspiration has left. Or is that just me? We’ve accumulated a few spools of ribbon over the years and wanted to share with you some of our favorite ways to incorporate it into your special day. Ribbon is actually one of our favorite little touches for a wedding day and we hope that this sparks some great ideas for your wedding design!
1. On Cake
The way this ribbon is casually tied around this cake makes it so sophisticated and elegant but simple at the same time.

2. On Chairs
The possibilities are endless when you tie ribbons around chairs. Draping with different lengths of ribbon like in this photo gives off a boho vibe that would be perfect for a relaxed outdoor wedding.

3. At Each Place Setting
A ribbon around your tableware, your menu, or your escort card adds that little something extra that wows your guests.

4. Around your bouquet
Now this isn’t a novel idea because most bridesmaids’ bouquets have ribbon around them BUT you can add a little something extra by using striped or patterned ribbon, tying a big bow around the stems, or letting the ends of the ribbon drape down a foot or two. This blue and white striped ribbon is perfect for a nautical or even a 4th of July wedding!
