So you’re trimming your budget. At the same time it’s your once-in-a-lifetime day so… why not splurge a little? #yomo
The real question is, what types of things do you invest in and which things do you skip over?
1. Great photography
No brainer. Alternatively –
1.5 Great videography
I am all for top-notch videography because you get the action, the moments, and the sound. We love that your videographer could capture any and all random in-between moments and won’t miss a second of your day!
2. Comfort first
You and your guests will remember the notably good or bad events of the day. Having great food, adequate air conditioning, unlimited juice drinks are all ideal but if you had to pick one – focus on comfort first. This could mean having programs that double as fans, having comfortable seating, or setting out flip flops for the dancers! It’s one of those things that you won’t notice if it’s there but you will definitely notice if it’s not.
3. Wedding planner
We had to 😉
A wedding planner allows you to have control of the day AND enjoy it. We help you save time and money, avoid regrets and stress, and help you and your closest friends and family have a beautiful and relaxed day!
4. Meaningful moments
Write a heartfelt letter to your future spouse, savor every single clinking glass, and incorporate a lot of personal elements into your day.
5. Plans
Don’t forget all of the little plans you have to make! Backup plans! Setup and cleanup plans! Rental return plans! Outdoor ceremonies are beautiful and definitely doable, despite Nebraska’s insane weather. Setting up and cleaning up goes a lot smoother with a plan in place beforehand as does returning all of your rental items and attire.
