Happy Labor Day!! Or what every store in existence is saying – happy shopping day! ๐
As most long weekends/holidays are an excuse to shop (and spend time with family and not work) – we hope that you took full advantage of this extra day off to hang out with your family and also maybe complete your ABD mug collection! (What? Who said that?)
Shopping is one of our favorite hobbies. And conveniently, today is the perfect day to indulge. If you’re like us, just check your inbox for tons of sales!! Unfortunately since the fire, I have found that shopping just for the sake of shopping is not as fun as it used to be. I mean, it’s still fun but working on BBE leaves hardly any time for it, even for online shopping, a hobby that used to be a part of my every day life. Shopping used to be a relaxing and thrilling activity but now that I have less free time, I am sad that shopping is not a spur-of-the-moment fun thing anymore but more of a thing-that-I-have-to-plan-in-advance-and-set-aside-time-for. ๐
Lately, I have felt that my wardrobe hasn’t been expressing my style well. Even though having the fire was an opportunity (to put it the best way possible) for me to reinvent my wardrobe and start over at square one into a better and more ‘me’ version, it’s not quite there just yet.
So, I have been looking for a way to shop for myself effectively and efficiently and (hopefully) the solution is:
Stitch Fix!
Basically, you set up your style profile, pay $20 up front, and get 5 clothing, shoe, or accessory items in the mail, picked by your stylist! You keep the ones you want and pay for the rest of the items, minus the $20 you already paid. If you keep the whole box you get a 25% discount! I signed up this weekend and I’ll get my “Fix” later this month. I’m so excited to try it out!
The stylists base all of their selections on your style so while they are doing the leg work, your inspiration sets the tone for your picks! Here are some of the outfits I’ve pinned to use as my style inspiration:

My style is all over the place but I truly love all of these outfits. Hopefully the stylists at Stitch Fix can blend neutral, edgy, and glam with bright, preppy, and romantic. ๐ I’ll let you guys know.
Have you tried Stitch Fix? What do you think abut it?

* This is not a sponsored post! i.e. we are getting paid $0.00 dollars for it and it would be cool (I guess) if Stitch Fix knew it existed but they don’t. All opinions/hopes/dreams are my own! I linked my referral link above but you can just as easily go to Stitch Fix directly instead! *
