Basic Bash Events attracts brides that like clean, modern design and want a stress-free wedding and planning experience.
We can only serve a few clients each year so instead of trying to appeal to everyone, we are focusing in on a certain type of client, a specific niche.
It can be scary to focus on a niche because what if you close yourself off from having more business? Well, by being wedding planners, we have already closed ourselves off from being photographers. It would be unfair to our clients to try to do both of these things at the same time. This doesn’t mean that we will be losing business because having a niche allows you to focus on quality, not quantity. Here’s how:
1. You Will Attract Your Ideal Client
Planning a person’s wedding is a very personal service. It is one that we love and value deeply and it’s an honor that we take seriously. We want you to feel comfortable with us since we will be working together for a long time! It’s so important that we are a good fit for every one of our brides and they are a good fit for us. By catering to a small audience, we know exactly what each potential client is looking for and how they feel, and we have the service that would help them the most.
2. Your Clients Know What To Expect
Having a niche doesn’t mean you are boxing yourself in or stifling your own creativity! When you produce the same type of work all the time, you may actually start to see an increase in your sales! It’s good to produce work that others expect. People buy Apple products because they expect them to be intuitive, well-designed, and user-friendly and every time a new product delivers that and then some, it builds loyalty and trust!
Doing the same thing over and over and doing it well is so beneficial for your customers and potential customers. At times when people can’t test your products or services before they purchase them, it’s a risk for them to invest. If you set the correct expectations and then deliver, your customers will trust your work and be happy with the results all the time!
3. You Don’t Need to Compete By Price
When you offer something that a lot of other people sell, customers will buy from the cheapest seller because they don’t notice the difference in quality, if there is one. You can offer so much more value by showing that you focus on a particular type of service.
If you are a photographer, you can shoot buildings and landscapes and portraits and weddings! But when you’re a digital wedding photographer, you now have the opportunity to charge more. Why? Because you already know the settings on your camera to use with certain lenses and in certain lighting and you already know how to coax bridal parties into looking cute for their friends’ wedding photos. The learning curve is gone and you can develop your own unique techniques to use again and again in the future, saving you time and energy in the long run. And, because your photos are better, you can charge more for your services and your clients will be happier.
4. You Become Known For Doing What You Love and Doing It Well
Your niche is your specialty because you love to do it. You are the best person to help your customer and that is invaluable.
