Kayla, Angela, and Kaitlyn were living in the dorms together during our last year of college while Kayla was planning her wedding and we all were busy working towards graduating from college and planning for our next stage of life!

One cold February day, with a couple months to go before graduation, we were all at work when we heard there was a fire at the dorms. We thought nothing of it - it couldn't be our dorm building - until we rushed back, just to be safe, and saw our building engulfed in flames. The fire lasted for hours and we lost almost everything. In addition to books, computers, and clothes, Kayla’s dorm room contained many wedding items that couldn't be recovered, things like invitations and décor were lost but bridesmaids dresses and wedding rings were later retrieved.

Dealing with the stress of all of these things, we did the only thing we knew how to do - keep moving forward. The months after the fire were a crazy blur and all of a sudden we graduated and Kayla’s wedding went off without a hitch! A day to remember - the "first" (unofficial) BBE wedding!

In hindsight, wedding planning can be incredibly stressful and time-consuming for everyone involved, even without a fire. We truly believe that each couple deserves a joyful and stress-free wedding from the beginning of planning all the way to the tear-down after the reception. There will be some days in your life that are sad and difficult but a wedding day is completely the opposite. Your wedding day will be one to look back on when times get hard and those incredible moments will be ones to cherish forever. Your wedding day is a joyful celebration of love and life itself and we want to have a hand in creating just that.

Hi, I’m Kayla and I’m so glad you are here! I am the lucky wife to my middle school sweetheart, Daniel, and doggy mom to Sugar the Japanese Chin! I always ‘awwww’ at cute animals and ‘boo’ bad puns.

I love bridging the gap between technical and creative. Microsoft Excel is a good friend of mine and some of my most successful creative endeavors include floral design, music, photography, videography and cooking! While my hobbies and interests are all over the place, weddings seem to encompass them all!  In addition, I am a past figure skater and present Pure Barre enthusiast. Fries and potato chips are my weaknesses and thoughtful planning and design are my strengths!

The BBE team is made of talented and compassionate people who supports my crazy ideas and dreams and I am so grateful to have them by my side in business and in life.

Hello! I'm Angela and I feel so blessed to be part of the Basic Bash team! A little about me, my strength is project management and my weakness is Chick-fil-a sauce. 😉 Every song is “my jam” and I consider myself a moscato connoisseur especially when paired with The Bachelor on Monday nights. Many experiences have taught me just how precious and short life is, and I try to keep that in my mind amidst life’s craziness.

Savoring each moment is what life’s all about, especially when it comes to a celebration as beautiful and meaningful as a wedding. Seeing our couples be fully present on their wedding days is magical, and I am so happy to be doing this with my best friends!

Hey, I’m Kaitlyn! I love being a part of BBE with two of my very best friends. I am so proud of my girls and everything we've accomplished. We work hard so that our couples enjoy every minute of their wedding day.

Some things that most people don't know about me: I am constantly listening to music – in my apartment, in the car, in the shower. My faves include Pentatonix, Justin Timberlake and Carrie Underwood (anyone who knows me would say that I'm obsessed with her athletic wear line  ☺  ) I daydream about vacationing to far-off places, with Ireland being at the top of that list. I try to remain active and am always looking for a new adventure.
