Drool.
An outdoor wedding reception is usually a lot more picturesque than your average indoor one. But, in Nebraska we’ve got is an extremely volatile weather system – especially lately, it’s been crazy! – and so an outdoor wedding ceremony is pretty unheard of. (Though, if you have the option and the weather is *picture perfect* it would be BEAUTIFUL!)
The next best thing is transforming our indoor spaces with decor such as backdrops. They are large so they cover a lot of space and help make some pretty photos! Here are some of our faves!
1. A pretty lattice for a garden-themed wedding!
Adorn it with flowers all over to give it a luxurious feel.
2. A paper flower backdrop or a 3 piece backdrop
The varying decor gives a different look depending on the angle you’re looking at it! This would be great for a photo booth or even behind a head table!
3. A wooden backdrop
This adds a bit of industrial or rustic-chic to your wedding! Though many local venues don’t need any help with this, it may be the perfect thing your outdoor ceremony needs to tie it in with your reception space.
4. A flower wall
Flower walls are becoming more popular and they can be more affordable than you think with lots of greenery!
5. A fabric backdrop
There are so many ways to use fabric in your backdrop – with lights or even some strings of greenery. Easier to transport and assemble than most other backdrops – it is a popular and beautiful option, and it’s affordable too!
