This is the last recap post for 2015! Yay! Last January, we made a list of all of our goals. You can see it here but we’re also posting them below along with how we did! If you’re curious about this year’s goals, you can find those here!
Book 5 weddings!
What a crazy whirlwind year! We more than doubled this goal and booked 12 weddings! ๐ ๐
Go to 2 workshops/conferences!
We blew this goal out of the water! Kaitlyn attended Go Blog Social last winter and Kayla attended the Designed and Styled Workshop in July and Creative at Heart in November!
Create our brand!
In August, we gave our site a face-lift, updated our logo, and put together a more professional look and feel.
Perfect our packages!
We changed up our packages once last year to better suit the needs of our brides! We love how it has been working so far!
Create and launch our budget bride package!
This goal is one that certainly fell by the wayside last year. That is why you’ll see it on our list of goals again for 2016! More to share later!
Find where we fit in to the wedding creative community in Omaha!
Last year, we started the Omaha chapter of Tuesdays Together and it has been amazing! It’s the start of many beautiful friendships and working relationships and we couldn’t have imagined a better way to achieve this goal than through the Rising Tide Society.
Style/coordinate 4 styled shoots!
Wow! We coordinated SO MANY shoots last year! A shoot with our bridal fair booth decor, a bright citrus shoot, a plum wine inspired shoot, and a boho garden shoot! ๐
Plan 2-3 non-wedding events!
We had the wonderful opportunity of hosting a floral workshop at Creighton last year and planning our high school reunion!
Post on social media once a day (5 days a week or more)!
This goal was a bit crazy but we did it on and off for a while! We’ll probably be toning it down for 2016 but it was a great and necessary challenge for us to strive for!
Blog at least twice a week!
We definitely hit this goal and we’re finally hitting our stride with it!
Book at least 1 wedding during the bridal fair!
We have to look at this goal and laugh because out of all of them, this one seemed like the easiest. While we didn’t actually meet this goal, we’re happy that there were so many other good things that happened in 2015!
