Allysa and Tyler’s wedding is one of our absolute favorites and I think you’ll notice that as you scroll through this post because there are SO. MANY. PICTURES. I think that our recaps are going to end up slowly growing and growing which is a great thing!
When we first met Allysa and Tyler, we listened as they described their beautiful vision for the day and got more and more excited as time went on! They envisioned a vintage but modern wedding with lots of gray, brass, and blush. Long candles, calligraphy, and an abundance of flowers were big priorities and we created just that! From vision to execution, this wedding was absolutely amazing! We drooled over the candlesticks and vases that were sourced by Allysa and Tyler who love shopping for vintage decor. During wedding planning, Allysa discovered a passion for calligraphy (isn’t that how most of us get roped into the wedding industry?) and lettered so many pieces for their big day from the invitation envelopes to the large chalkboard timeline, the acrylic welcome sign, the memorial mirror, and the bridal gift boxes. They are nurses by day but they certainly have a creative streak! They and their families were all really kind and friendly – so many people showed up to help set up and even build some of the large signage and the patio cornhole boards which was so sweet!
Allysa and Tyler, we hope you had a magical wedding and that you’ll have a love story to rival the best rom coms. If your wedding is any indication, there was a bit of rain in the morning that cleared up so you have some good luck to go along with the beautiful spring (almost summer) day.
The Mullers captured tons of beautiful and captivating images and we always love working with them AND the team at Abraham Catering. I could list all the people and details that I loved from their wedding (because there are a lot more) but that would take a long time. But, I’ll end with this really important point: Ted and Wally’s is a really good alternative cake idea. Just saying.
PS: In case you missed it, you can also see their wedding in the latest issue of Nebraska Wedding Day Magazine!!!
